2013

Wow! 2013 just went by. It feels like 2013 just started yesterday. I'm honestly not to sure how to reflect this year but I got to do a lot of traveling. I got to go to Canada, Washington and Japan for the first time in 4 years. Japan honestly wasn't a blast. It just wasn't as fun as I thought it would be but I still got to do things I always been wanting to do. And on to school stuff, I guess I didn't do very well in my freshman year so I thought of working hard this year but I felt like I lost motivation to do anything so my resolution is to actually do my homework I guess lol. And as for idols, I felt like this year was a very good year for Hello Project. Morning Musume got #1 three times in a row and Juice=Juice made their major debut. There were some losses too such as MoMusu not being to be on Kouhaku and Juice=Juice not getting the Best New Artist Award. But other than that, it was a good year and I hope 2014 will be better! :D

Seattle!

I got back from Washington yesterday and I got to go to Daiso! I always look forward going to Daiso whenever I go up to Washington. They have really nice things compared to the normal U.S $1 stores. I didn't buy much. I only bought a letter set case, music notebook and a little note thing :) 

Very late Merry Christmas!

I wrote this on Christmas day but didn't publish it because I couldn't find the card reader lol

I can't believe that today is Christmas! It sure doesn't feel like it lol. I had an pretty interesting day today and yesterday I guess. I played cards with my family and I didn't win and last night we had a Christmas dinner and my mom made roast beef and cake. It was so good :) This year for Christmas, I got Hello Kitty PJs and a Hello Kitty Iphone case. 

Japan Haul!

I made a video of what I got in Japan but there were some things that I didn't show on that video so I will show them on this blog. 

When I went to Akihabara, I went to the Hello Project shop. I thought I bought more but I didn't bother asking so these are the pictures that I got. The pictures on the bottom are the ones that I got for free. I was able to choose 3 pictures and I chose Kuduu, Fuku-chan and Zukki.. 

 I also got 2 Morning Musume photobooks. My mom actually bought them for me because I couldn't go anywhere because I was sick so I told my mom that I wanted 9th and 10th generation but they didn't have it so she got me these ones. I really like the pictures on both of these photobooks. They're so nice!

I got a lot of Hello Project goods when I was over there. It's really hard for me to get them here in the States so I was pretty happy :) I got a t-shirt at the Hello Project store and it came with a picture of Zukki! 

 If you guys are thinking that I only got Hello Project goods, you are wrong! I also got some magazines such as Duet and Popolo. 

Lastly, I got some notes and a mechanical pencil. I love Japanese notebooks and stuff! They're so cute! ^-^

That is all the things I got pretty much! I really wanted to get a crap load of things but I just couldn't. My next Japan post will probably be about my time in Osaka so please looks forward to that!

Japan 2013: Tokyo

Instead of doing a blog entry about each day of my trip, I'm gonna talk about it as somewhat of a whole. I went to Tokyo and Osaka so I'm going to split it up. 

It was my first time going to Tokyo. I've been to Tokyo to ride a bullet train to Osaka but never actually went to any of the places.  This time I was lucky because our plane was scheduled to arrive around 11pm and the deal for our plane ticket that we got was to stay at a hotel in Haneda airport for the night. I thought it would be kind of lame since it was a business hotel but it was very nice and cute in a way. It was pretty small but we each had our own beds and the vending machines were very close to our rooms.

In the morning, we ate at one of the shops in the hotel. There were a lot of shops and a mall but I sadly didn't get to look at them. Since I wasn't very hungry I had a yogurt drink. It was pretty good :) 

 Then, we just hung around there since they had wifi! It was impossible to find a place that actually had wi-fi in Japan. Even if a store has wifi, they won't let you use it if you don't have a contract with a certain phone company in Japan. But in the airport, we still had to register for something to use the wifi. 

On the way there, the station that we had to ride the monorail at was Pokemon themed :) 

 After we ate, we decided to leave a little early to Tokyo Station. We had to meet up with one of my mom's friends at around 11:00am so when we went there, we just looked at the stores while getting lost on the way there lol. While we outside looking for something to do, we heard a tourist saying that there is a section called Okashi land. We ended up going there and we bought some snacks that were just made.

 I got the freshly made Jagarikos! It was pretty good but I really liked the one my brother ordered which was like this chocolate dipped chips. It had this salty but sweet taste and the ice cream was awesome! And I took a picture of the menu. 

 

 We also looked around the character shops. They had stores like the JUMP shop, Hello Kitty, NTV, Fuji TV, TV Tokyo etc. I didn't buy anything from those shops but they were interesting to look at. 

When we met up with my mom's friend, we first went to eat some ramen. We went to this section that had a whole bunch of ramen places and there was even one that had a huge line which I regret not going because I heard it's a pretty famous place. Instead we went into one which didn't have a whole bunch of people. 

I ordered a Tsukemen which I had for the first time. Honestly, Tsukemen isn't really my thing. I honestly prefer ramen.

After that, we headed to Akihabara. I've always been wanting to go to Akihabara because of the fact it has things both me and my brother likes. 

 It honestly wasn't too anime-ish but I guess since Akihabara was mainly known for the electronics, I guess that's why. We first went into a card game shop. I waited for my brother there. Then we went to the Hello Project Store! I have been wanting to go there for 2 years and I finally did! :) It was very spacey and there weren't many people. One of the things I didn't really like though was the amount of time I had to wait to get my order. The people in front me would buy like 100 photos so it would take forever for the staff to find the photos. Also I had to line-up again because I didn't realize that the photos I chose were sold out. But there were only 2 staff so I can't really blame the staff. After being in the Hello Project Shop for maybe over an hour, we had Taiyaki.

We also went to some electronic shops and Don Quijote. It was my first time going to Don Quijote and it was pretty interesting. Since we went to the one in Akihabara, there were a lot of AKB48 things. I didn't take any pictures of it though. 

Since we were tired we went to a Saizeriya which is a Italian chain family restaurant. I never been there before so I have always been curious about it. I got a pineapple ice thing lol. 

 After that, we went to Animate. It was huge! I didn't look at the whole store because there were so many floors. And because it was getting dark, we decided to part with my mom's friend and go to Osaka.

Watamote

For the last 3 days, I've been really into this anime called Watamote. It's short for Watashi ga Motenai no wa do Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui. It's extremely funny but really embarrassing at the same time. Those who don't really like embarrassing shows will maybe not be able to watch the whole series. I actually don't like embarrassing shows but this was one of the shows I was able to watch the whole entire thing in a few days. It's about a girl named Tomoko Kuroki who has very very few friends and is trying to be popular but is very anti social. It's a very funny anime so I recommend you guys to watch it!

Back in the States!

I am now back in the states! I actually came back last night but I was too tired to write anything. Japan was pretty fun expect that I ended getting sick :/ I couldn't move for a day and I had to stay at my grandma's house for pretty much the rest of the trip. But on the bright side, I was able to watch some Japanese TV. Despite the fact that I got sick, I was able to get some things and go to some places. I just landed last night. I got to stay in a hotel in Tokyo. It's so nice :) it's really small though but it's still nice. In going to akihabara today then to Osaka. I'm excited to go to akihabara. I really want to go to the hello project store :D

Latest H!P releases

Lately, I am in love with S/mileage and Juice=Juice's upcoming releases! ^-^ I'm usually not really into S/mileage songs but this one it just made me in love with it as soon as I heard it. And for Juice=Juice's upcoming single, it is just so mature! This is probably the most mature song I have ever heard in a long time. For some reason, their songs remind me of the early 2000's Hello Project songs.

I'm going to Japan!

Since my dad got cheap plane tickets, I'm going to Japan next week! I'm so excited! Because of the fact that I'm going to land in Tokyo at night, I'm going to stay there for the night and the day I am going to do some sightseeing. I'm planning to go to Akihabara. I'll try to vlog and take as much pictures as I can!

Piano

I actually wrote a post on my other blog by mistake so I ended up deleting that post and I don't remember what I wrote on it lol. Anyways, I had a piano recital today. I feel like I did horrible :( I made a whole bunch of mistakes and I just don't feel satisfied about it. I guess I feel like it was a bad today since I was tired and my dad kept on telling me to do things. He ended up getting inspired by the performances so he kept on telling to sing while playing or playing my clarinet with piano accompiment. Then what made it worse is that my dad doesn't buy junk food very often so when we went to Burger King, he didn't know what one of the burgers looked like and he didn't want an ICEE was. It was really embarrassing. This was a really random post but I just wanted to write how it wasn't a very good day.

November

Today is the first day of November! Time is seriously just going by really fast. It was kind of hard to believe it was Halloween yesterday. I didn't go trick-or-treating because I'm getting too old plus I didn't have any time to find a costume. But I did serve candy for around 10 minutes then some high schooler just screamed and ran away and it made me want to punch that guy lol. But I didn't. 

Also I only have one more day of marching band then I'm free! Marching season was really busy even though I only have rehearsal 3 days a week. But it was fun and I got to meet new people and experience something new. I'm going to miss the people in marching band since I don't have any classes or the same lunch as them. Speaking of lunch, I usually sit myself. This is really random but I actually kind of prefer to sit by myself. It gives me more time to do stuff. The only bad thing about it is that pretty much all the people I don't really like has the same lunch as I do. But other than that, it's pretty peaceful. Sorry if I'm really random. I'm just tired especially since I had a 3 1/2 hour rehearsal.

Hello~

My goal for this year was to have at least 10 blog posts each month but nothing exciting has been going on in my life plus I've been busy so I haven't had time to post anything. Despite not having much time, I started watching Kazoku Game yesterday. I don't know why but that drama is really interesting. It's not my kind of drama but it's just gets me hooked for some reason. It has a lot of plot twister so I'm assuming that's what it makes it really interesting. The role that Sakurai Sho plays is just plain crazy. I'm planning to write a review about the drama after I finish it so please look forward to that :)

October

It is October! Man, times just goes by. I did not update this blog very often last month since I was really busy and nothing really exciting happened. But last Saturday, it was the first Marching Band competition of the year. We won first place! :) I was pretty happy but it wasn't very surprising. The weather was HORRIBLE. It was just pouring down rain but we still came out strong. The only bad thing that happened was that I ended up getting sick the next day and I also lost my gloves. That was two things lol.

School :(

Lately I haven't had the time to record anything :/ I really wish I could sing but my throat has been hurting and I have a crap load of homework to do. Since school has started, I have marching band 3 times a week and a lot of the times I have to show up for the football games so it's technically 4. Marching band is hard but it's fun and I get to be with my friends. It's pretty much my only time to be with my friends because I have no classes with them this year. I don't even have the same lunch with them so a lot of the times, I sit alone or I sit with a friend from elementary school. But this year, my goal is to study really hard and get A's and B's since I got mostly B's and one C last year.

Freedom

I know that I said I'll be posting anything music related on my other blog but I'm still thinking of posting songs that I'm currently into on this blog. So lately, I've been into the song Freedom by Ramm feat.Ayami. I know a lot of you guys don't know this but Ayami seems like she finally active as an artist now! She was a finalist for the Morning Musume 8th generation audition but she dropped out and probably because she also auditioned for Avex at the same time. Anyways, I didn't know she finally made her debut till I saw a video of her on the official avex channel on YouTube. She really looked different and I did not recognize her at first but for some reason, I had this feeling that it was her. I hope Ayami will have a nice music career and I'm glad that she's still singing :) 

First Day of School

Today was my first day of school! I am now officially a sophomore in high school. It was kind of crappy. I didn't have any classes with my friends instead I had 2 classes with a really annoying kid and one of my brothers friend. Also I had a really hard time opening my locker and I realized I was opening the wrong locker lol. I was also really stressed that I didn't have the same lunch with one of my close friends but it turned out another friend of mine had the same lunch and I sat with her and her group of friends who are all into anime. It wasn't the best first day of school but I hope it'll get better :)

September

I can't believe it's already September! This year is just going fast. I feel like it's going faster than last year. Anyways, I'm starting school on Wednesday! I can't believe it's going to be a new school year. This summer felt like it was an extremely long winter break. I'm sort of looking forward to school but I want more time to relax lol, Oh yea, I made a new blog today. I've always been thinking of starting a blog focusing on my thoughts about PVs and songs and new releases etc but I was never confident with my writing skills. School...

I can't believe school is starting in less than a week! Summer just flew by as if it was just a extremely long winter break! I wish summer break is more longer but I guess I had my fun by just staying home and being on the computer all day long. I mean, I had some goals to achieve but I doubt I achieved any of them lol.

I really like Juice=Juice's upcoming major single! I loved it ever since the concert rip came out. I feel like this song is a very strong song for their major debut single and I hope they'll win the Best New Artist award this year or at least be a nominee :) 

 

Shopping :)

Yesterday, I got to go shopping with my family! It's been a while since I've actually been somewhere other than school. I got some new clothes and I bought some magazines at Kinokuniya. It was really interesting. My family and I were looking for a crepe place and we ended going into a restaurant. The crepe was really good but next time, we're going to get some Japanese style crepes! 

               I bought a issue of Shouen Jump for the first time ever yesterday! I haven't read it though

Band Camp

Since last week, I've been at band camp from morning to night! It isn't as hard as I thought it it'll be but it is definitely exhausting. I had to go to band camp the day after I came back from Canada and I was really nervous. I thought we'll learn the choreography as soon as band camp started but it turned out we learn the techniques first. I don't have much things to say other than the fact I have a tan but I think it's a good experience and I'm planning to post things about my trip to Canada when I have the time! :)

Wagamama ki no mama ai no joke

I know that the video came out about a week ago but I still want to share my thoughts about this song. I love it! I like how the lines are more distributed although I still wish Kanon and Kuduu would be more part of the spotlight. As for the video, I feel like Up-Front decided not to be cheap and they have 2 outfits rather than one. I feel like it's been forever since they had 2 outfits for one song! I believe the last time they had 2 outfits were for Maji de Suka Ska. The dance is awesome and the PV shows everyone equally and I just love this song! 

What?? Another HSJ scandal??

I started writing this post a few days ago so yeah....

Okay so this morning, I saw a picture of Keito Okamoto and actress Kasumi Arimura. At first, I was really happy and thought they were a cute couple but it somewhat started to bother me as the day went by. I started thinking things as like "who else has a girlfriend in HSJ?" Is Yamada going to be next?? and I also thought of really unrelated things such as, a Hello Project member announcing her graduation in the month or so. As for the H!P thing, after Morimoto's scandal, Ogawa Saki from S/mileage announced her graduation so that's why I thought a graduation was going to be announced :/ It started making me really stressed and I couldn't sleep because of it. Keito is actually not my favorite member in HSJ but it made me scared on who's going to be next. I know everyone is going to have a relationship someday and I am totally accept that but at the same time, it makes me kind of sad. But the number one thing that bothered me is, how were those pictures leaked and why didn't Keito delete those pictures or put them on his computer where it is nice and safe? But according to something I read on Arama, Keito took his phone to a phone shop and one of the employees found the pictures and sent them to Friday. Anyways, although I'm not as concerned as I was on the day it was on Friday, I really do think they are a cute couple. Also I am 90% prepared to cry myself to sleep if Yamada gets a girlfriend and the pictures get leaked XD

Busy month!

Although this summer has been really boring for me, I'm going to be busy this month. I'm bored right now though lol. I'm going on vacation for about a week and then right after that, I have band camp. I'm a little nervous about band camp. I'm worried if I'll be able to survive lol. Anyways, my aunt and cousin came to visit for almost a week! It was really fun! It was their first time visiting us so they were really nervous about their trip but once they came here, they were surprised at everything they saw and was very energetic till the end. I guess that'll be all for now! I have some other posts that I still need to write so please look forward to those too! :D 

Better Without You

I've been interested in the group FAKY ever since the trailer for the first member came out. I was really looking forward to this group but when I first heard this song, I was a little disappointed. The song isn't the best to showcase their vocals which I think they all have pretty strong vocals but I gave a few listens and I like it now. I think this group shows so much potential and they have really talented girls. Also this group sort of reminded me of 2NE1 in the beginning. Although this song is not the best, I hope all their future releases will be great :) 

Random Story

Last night, I went to Kinokuniya. I bought Ouran because I love Ouran High school Host Club. It's so funny and I can't stop reading it lol. Anyways, I wanted a Myojo but I didn't have enough money. So what I did is that I bought Ouran first and I came back after I got more money from my mom. The cashier looked at me and was thinking, "oh you're back after 5 minutes" and then she looked at the magazine I was buying. It turned out she was a Johnny's fan and liked Hey! Say! JUMP. She told me she liked Yamada and said she liked his lips lol. It was probably one of my most interesting experiences I ever had at Kinokuniya.

More Satoumi songs :)

More of the Satoumi movements songs have been shown on UF licks. I really like the song by Mellowquad. I think the lyrics are really unique and it has a up-beat sound to it. Also I think it'll be great song for a matsuri!

Ai no Gundan

The dance shot version was uploaded today on Hello Station! ^-^ When I first heard it, I thought the beginning was kind of weird and I also thought the dance was kind of weird too. But when I started to listen to this song over and over again, I started to really like it. I think the arrangement is very unique and I feel like it's something I haven't heard before. I recommend you guys to listen to it! ^-^ 

 

Japanese Summer Festival

Yesterday, I went to a Japanese summer festival at a Uwajimaya. It was kind of small compared to last years but it was still fun! ^-^ I went with my friend and we actually went into the store a lot lol. I was able to get some mangas so that was nice :) My friend and I pretty much had the same amount of money after the festival lol. I didn't take any pictures because I completely forgot to bring my camera lol. But other than that, I was able to eat a lot of food and drink some ramune! ^-^

Otsuka Aina resigned from Juice=Jucie and H!P Kenshusei??

 

 I'm a little late on this but I actually knew about since Friday and these are just my thoughts on her resigning. First of all, I was surprised. I was thinking"What?? Aina resigning?" I thought it was a really bad time to quit because they're going to have a major debut this summer. Also I was kind of shocked. She wasn't my favorite member and I felt like she was getting pushed a lot but it's sad for anyone to quit ever especially at a time like this. This reminded me of when Murakami Megumi resigned from ℃-ute before they're major debut. The situation is a lot different though. Murakami Megumi resigned to focus on her education although pictures of her with a guy surfaced online. Aina on the other hand was forced by her parents because they didn't agree to the contract. When I first heard about this, I was thinking that it wasn't her choice to quit. Then I thought of what the contract might say on it. According to Chinami(Berryz Koubou), one of the weird rules is that they're not allowed to wear swimsuits other than work. So that means that they're not allowed to go to the beach, pool and any type of onsen that you have to be naked in. Anyways, who knows if that's the actual reason Aina resigned? I'm assuming it is but Up Front tends to be secretive about these things at times. Overall, I wish Aina was able to debut and she was so close! But what happened is what happened so I wish the best for her :) And I don't want her to be in AKB48! :( I doubt it though. If her parents disagree with the contract with Up Front, they'll probably disagree with the contract for AKB.

Happy 4th of July! ^-^

It didn't feel like the 4th of July to me. One of my reasons why is because my mom and brother are out of state so it's just me and my dad. But I was still able to do fireworks today :) It was fun! I wish I could've bought more but oh well :D We actually bought them in the last minute but it was still nice.

Come on a my house!

I finally got Hey! Say! JUMP's new CD yesterday! ^-^ The version I got was the limited edition 2. I honestly didn't like the song at first but now it is growing on me :) But I really like the coupling tracks on this so because of those songs, it really want me to get this single. 

 I also got Sexy Zone's latest single, Real Sexy/Bad Boys! ^-^ I was originally planning to get this single when I go to Japan but it turns out we weren't going this summer so I just had one of my relatives get this for me. I think the main song Real Sexy is sort of a cute song and happy while Bad Boys has some rock to it and has a more cool sound to it.

Since I got the regular edition for the first time ever, I got Sou-kun! ^-^ I actually wanted Mari or Shori but I'm satisfied on who I got. I'm planning to buy all the regular versions the next time I go to Japan and see who I get but that'll cost me a lot of money so I might not do that. 

 

Lastly, I got a mini july 2013 issue! ^-^ I wanted this because Takahashi Ai wrote on her blog that she was doing a photoshoot for the magazine. Also since Mini is one of the magazines I buy, I really wanted it. The problem was that in the Kinokuniya that I go to, they only have one copy of it and I can't go there anytime I want so I just decided to get it online. 

 

 That is all the things I got! ^-^ I should do more of these but I feel like it won't be as special since I get a magazine every month.

 

July!

I can't believe it's already July guys! ^-^ As I said yesterday, it's just so hot here! This weekend was pretty busy for me and I was really tired when I woke up yesterday :/ I'll try to make as much covers as possible this summer so hope you guys look forward for that!

It's been hot since Friday! :( About a week before, it was raining a lot and there was this when it rained for a while and then it stopped and it would just rain again :/ I honestly don't get the weather. There was this cultural festival this week and me and my friend could barely stand the heat :/

Boring Summer...

It's been exactly 2 weeks since summer started and I am bored. I'm trying to not waste my summer break but it's hard not to do that lol. I can't stay away from the computer since my computer is in my room. But I have been reading mangas I haven't had time to read. I haven't read Hana Kimi for around 2 years and I got done with volume 12 in a few hours. I'm really close to finishing volume 13 and I luckily bought 2 more volumes when I went to a used bookstore. I'm planning to as much manga as I can. Anyways, the things that I'm going to do are just so faraway but I have a feeling it'll come by soon....

I'm just in love with Juice=Juice! <3 and I finally got to cover this! I love all their singles that they currently released and I'm glad that they're going to have their major debut. This group has a very strong performance level and I think they're one of the most high level groups Hello Project has. I hope they won't change members but who knows? Anyways on to the cover! This song is a little high for me but I tried my best. I felt like I could've done better on the chorus parts but I tried. Also, I've been having trouble with timing but I felt like I did better on this timing wise compared to Crazy Kanzen na Otona and Asu e no Hikari.

Asu e no Hikari

I uploaded a new cover! ^-^ I decided to re-do Asu e no Hikari. I actually recorded this a few days ago but I didn't want to upload it because of timing problems. But my throat started hurting on Monday and it just disappeared today after I took a nap. Anyways, I like to re-recorded some songs to see how much I've improved or not. When I watched my original cover of this, I thought to myself, "wow I sounded horrible". At that time, I was really proud of it. But looking back to it, I was off key a lot of the time. The mic I used I wasn't the best and my pronunciation wasn't the best.

Summer Break!

It actually started on Wednesday but yeah...I can't believe it's already summer break. I feel like school just started yesterday. I haven't had the time to record something but as soon as summer break started, I recorded Crazy Kanzen na Otona. I've been in a C-ute and Juice=Juice mood lately. I haven't listened to Morning Musume as much. I find it kind of weird that they haven't had a single announced yet. I guess I was so used to hearing rumors about a new single as soon as a single got out. Anyways, I've had a busy month! Last week, I had rehearsals for a parade and I had to go to a high school graduation for band. Then I had a bunch of things due the next day and on Saturday, it was the day of the parade. I felt like dying while marching in the parade. It was about 4 miles and it just really hot and I just wanted to take off my uniform. After that, we had about 6 hours of free time. We went to a fair which was kind of boring. Me and my friend didn't like the rides so we were bored the whole time. On Monday, exams started and I think I should've worked harder :P

Band :/

This week, I'm going to be really busy with band. I had a rehearsal today and after being all worn out, I had to go back to school to get a uniform for a parade this weekend. It turned out I didn't have to come till Friday. I felt like I wasted my time waiting but I was able to get some homework done. I feel really stressed right now. I have a really low grade in science and I only have 3 days to get it up. Plus I have a whole bunch of homework to do. But next week is going to be the last week of school! ^-^ I can't believe school is almost over. After finals, I'm free and I can make all the covers I want to :)

Sleep

This is a really random post but last night, I had a real hard time trying to sleep. I did everything I can. I listened to the song that makes me fall asleep multiple times, I exercised and I even just stared at the wall lol. In the end, I gave up and just sat on my bed for a while. I was finally able to fall asleep around 1 am. It was for me, one of the worst sleeping experiences I ever had. I hope tonight I'll be able to fall asleep :) 

Oh yeah, I ate curry on Saturday. It was really good although I got tired of the taste. My dad got the cheese flavored one and I regret not ordering that.

I actually have homework and such to work on but I'm too lazy so I've recorded some new covers! One of them is Egao ni Namida~THANK YOU DEAR MY FRIENDS. I sound really sick in this cover  because my throat wasn't clear when I recorded this. I hate recording when my throat isn't clear but I started recording this weeks ago so I decided to finish it on that day. I also recorded Brainstorming. I feel like I could've done better especially in the end but I didn't feel like re-doing it because I felt really worn out. I don't think I'll be able to record again for a while. Dramas!

I have been watching some dramas lately! The dramas I have been watching is Itazura na Kiss~Love in Tokyo, Hotaru no Hikari(Decided to re-watch it because I don't remember much of it) and Kasuka na Kanojo. I love love love Itazura na kiss! <3 Although I'm not that into anything that's romantic, I think it's very funny and it's very entertaining to watch. And for Kasuka na Kanojo, I actually just started watching that today. But I just finished episode 3. I find it interesting that Honoka Miki is in both Itazura na Kiss and Kasuka na Kanojo. I didn't know that till I found some video of the drama being on the news. It made me think, "wow shes one busy girl!" But I guess they filmed Itazura na Kiss months before or something.

This was a completely unplanned cover but I made a cover of the opening Yes! Pretty Cure 5. I wanted to cover something from my childhood although it was when I was like 10. I was a huge Pretty Cure fan when I was around 10-11. My relatives were telling me that I was too old to like things like this and I wish I didn't to what they say. Mystery Virgin

I uploaded a new cover yesterday! I finally, finally sung Mystery Virgin! :) I originally wanted to sing this as soon as I got the CD for it but I decided to hold it off till May. Anyways, yesterday or today in the states was Yamada's birthday! ^-^ I don't really show my fandom for HSJ much but I am a huge HSJ fan. I have been one for a pretty long time and I really want to continue supporting them. Even though I sort of complain about Yamada because I want everyone to shine, he is still my favorite member and he has been ever since I became a fan. I think he's very hardworking, dedicated and really cares about his fans. I feel like he does everything with a passion and I can't see the reason why to not support him. I also think he's very funny and has an awesome personality. When I first became a fan, I regretted choosing Yamada as my bias member. I thought I was able to do better and choose a "perfect" member who is good at both singing and dancing. The reason why is because I didn't think his singing was good enough but right now, I think it really improved. Also I felt like he wasn't the type of person I would like. Anyways, I realized the member I was looking was impossible to find because nobody's perfect.

It's finally May! ^-^ Man, I can't believe it. Time is just going by so fast. I mean, I feel like everything is just flying by. I actually started writing this entry a few days ago but I didn't feel like finishing it lol. I'm 90% better now! Yay! :) I actually recorded a new cover yesterday. Can you guys guess what it is? I haven't recorded anything for a while because again I've been sick and I don't recording things while I'm sick because I won't satisfied with it. Sick :/

I've been sick since Wednesday :/ I hate being sick!! I try not be sick as much as possible but when it comes to april/may, it's the time when I get sick the most often. I haven't been to school since Thursday and I honestly sort of skipped school on Friday because I wasn't done with my essay but at the same time, I still wasn't feeling much better. I felt like I needed to go somewhere since I haven't been out for a few days so I decided to go to a rehearsal for piano. That was a really bad idea. I was coughing a lot and one girl was staring for some reason either she was bored or she thought I had "germs". But on the bright side, I got ice cream! ^-^ I was going to make a cover and I will when I get better so please look forward to that! :D

My Birthday! ^-^

My birthday was on the 19th but yea...I turned 16 this year! ^-^ I feel scared to become an adult but at the same time, I am a little excited. I didn't do anything special because I don't like doing a big party and such so I had a simple dinner with my family. My mom made me one of the favorite food, maguro which is my favorite kind of sushi. My grandpa was visiting so we all got to have a nice dinner. After dinner, I got to open my present which was a new clarinet and a Myojo. My mom went to Uwajimaya that day to buy the tuna and she bought the magazine while she was there. She told me she bought it because Sexy Zone was on the cover lol. I love Sexy Zone. They're one of my favorite Johnnys groups next to Hey! Say! JUMP :) Then, we had cake. The next day was my birthday party. It was supposed to be a karaoke themed party but we just ended up talking and hardly doing any karaoke at all but it was fun and we all had a good time! :) I have to admit, this was one of my best birthdays I ever had. I didn't get sick this year so things are good. ^-^

Random Update

Wow I feel like I haven't made any entries this month. Anyways, I've been sort of busy with school so nothing interestings been going on in my life. Oh yeah, my birthday is next friday. I'm planning to do a birthday party but I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm planning to do either a karaoke party since my dad is getting a mic from Japan or just go bowling with my friends. I'm planning to decide which thing I should do when I get the mic. I wanted to get C-ute new single in CD format but my parents told me to just get it on Itunes. I know getting songs on Itunes is a lot more easier and costs less money but I really want C-ute to sell well and pretty much all the other Hello Project groups. But C-ute's been doing pretty well lately and I'm really happy for. So is Morning Musume. I hope they'll get number 1 like they did on Help Me. I looked up what other releases are on that same day and there doesn't seem to be a group or artist who can pull really strong sales so I guess MoMusu has an advantage. 

Last week, I went to a Sakura Matsuri which was held at a local university. Since I had nothing else to do, I helped out my mom and some other ladies. Before the festival started, the music that was on were either Ikimono-gakari or Nishino Kana. I like both Ikimono-gakari and nishino kana but that was all the songs that they were playing. It really made me want to listen to Hello Project songs and from that point on, I realized I need to listen to at least one HP a day. I felt like I was suffering that they were only playing those 2 artists songs. I used to love Ikimono-gakari and nishino kana. I still do but I kind of need a mix of all kinds of music or else I get tired of it and don't really bother to listen. I once listened to only AAA in the car and it sort of me tired of AAA and I haven't been listening to their latest songs but I would like to sometimes. Of course my mom doesn't really mind since she likes Ikimono gakari. I try to show people how Hello Project is really different now and how different their performances have become but sadly, they don't understand XD. One of the uni students who I know somewhat well told me that there was this guy who liked Berryz Koubou and the teacher was like "what is that?? is that even a Japanese group??" my mom joked that if I were him, I would get mad. I told her I wouldn't but then I realized I might since whenever I watch videos of ppl getting asked if they know the current Momusu and stuff, they'll be like no and me thinking "how could they not know??" Anyways, this was a long and boring post. I'll try to post more interesting stuff if I can and I would love to post things about Japan since I'm probably going there in the summer so I'm planning to keep a journal and posting that on this blog :)

Lately, I've been really into Juice=Juice's debut indie single! ^-^ I honestly didn't like it at first but it really grew on me and I love it! :) I'm really surprised at how well they can sing and dance but all of them has experience so I can see. I'm not sick anymore! :) So since it is spring, I decided to cover SAKURA by Ikimono-Gakari. This is my 2nd time covering this song because I felt like I did horrible on my first one and everything was a little off then because I didn't know how to adjust the timing thing. But since it is spring, I decided to cover it again. I usually try to cover something that is about a certain season on that season or I just feel weird when I cover something off season like covering a christmas song in spring lol. My dad went to Japan for a few weeks and he got me some gifts :) 

 One of the things I got is the new S/mileage single. I know this is a little late but congrats on getting #1 on the oricon daily charts! :) This is actually my first S/mileage CD. The Kinokuniya that I go to doesn't have a huge variety of CDs and there are times when they don't have the latest releases. Anyways, I really like this the single and I love every song in it! 

 I also got the new Berryz Koubou CD. I kind of took advantage of my dad because since he was in Japan, I was like "why not ask him to buy the CDs that are going to be out while he's there?" This is my first Berryz Koubou CD. Again, the Kinokuniya I go to doesn't have much plus it's really small so I usually buy most of my music on Itunes. I haven't really listened to the B-side but I honestly prefer the other B-side. 

 I have been really into SKET DANCE lately. I haven't watched the whole series yet. I actually still need to finish one more episode and I'll be done with it. I think it's really sad that they don't make new episodes so I decided to read the manga because that's still continuing. I hope they'll make a 2nd season someday! :D

Spring break and soar throat

Finally, spring break! :D lol, spring break technically started for me on Friday because I skipped school because I had a soar throat. It's still a little soar but it got a lot better. I don't really have any plans but I am planning to make a lot of vids as long as my mom doesn't take away my computer. My mom was complaining to me yesterday about how much I don't talk. I was actually reading a book and a manga but she was complaining how much I'm on the computer instead. I usually write anything that's making me mad on a notebook but yeah....

Real Clothes thoughts

I recently just finished watching this drama called Real Clothes. I originally started watching this around the time it aired but I never got around to finishing it because I was watching this on dramacrazy and I couldn't find a part of one of the episodes so I became lazy and didn't get around to finishing it till recently. It's been a while since I've seen any dramas but I really liked this one. Of course it may be a little mature for me but I was able to understand it more than I did a few years ago. For those who haven't seen this, it's about a young women named Amano Kinue(Karina) who was the number 1 seller in the mattress section of a department store called Echizenya. Suddenly she got moved to the clothes section of the department store. Although being the best employee in the mattress section, she knows nothing about clothes so she struggled to help the customers and ends up struggling to know herself and clothes. Kuroki Hitomi plays the cold hearted and strict boss Jinbo Miki who chose her to be in the clothes section. 

I find the plot really interesting. I don't think this is a typical plot since not many dramas are about fashion. A lot of the typical dramas are about love stories and school life etc. Even though I'm not into fashion that much, the plot was something that kept me keep on watching this plus I learned how serious people are in the fashion business. I learned how hard it is to get brands to sell their products at your section and how much you have to give up your personal life to focus on your job. 

The characters all very unique and I really like that. For example, Kinue(Karina) even though she changed, she still has that very cheerful personality and is person who doesn't give up. What I thought of Jinbo Miki is that even though she is cold-hearted, she can be nice sometimes and I think shes a good boss. I think Tabuchi was one of the most entertaining characters. Though he is very serious about his work, he is not delicate to women and tends not get people to work with him at times and I think that was the running gag in this drama for him while his rival Hachiya can easily make people work for him cause he is good with women. Also as far as I know, this is the first time that Karina and her 2 sisters were all in a drama together. I saw them on SMAP x SMAP and they were pretty funny. 

Okay so this is obviously not a good drama review. When I did a review about Bakaleya, I took notes about the drama so it'll give me ideas to write about but for this, I didn't take any notes and I can't remember things well so the next time I watch a drama, I will take notes and give more of a specific review.

Crazy Kanzen na Otona

I've been loving the new upcoming Hello Project releases lately! ^-^ I really like C-ute's upcoming single Crazy Kanzen na Otona. It's been a while since I have actually loved a C-ute song. I honestly do like C-ute. I think they're one of the best HP groups but I haven't been liking their songs lately. I don't think Kono Machi was a bad song but it wasn't something that I was like "I love it!" so it was a so-so for me. Anyways, I think this song is catchy and C-ute really can pull off the sexy image. I'm not liking the shorts though. :/ I think they're a little too short but other than that, I think it's awesome! :) And I think Maimai looks super pretty in this! :D 

Homework :/

I've been getting a lot of homework lately and I feel sort of pressured since grading day is next week. :/ It's kind of hard to believe that grading day is next week because I feel like 2nd semester just started. I was able to keep up with my work on the first week and that time I thought, yeah! I'll be able to my homework on time but now, I'm usually really lazy and stuff. Plus high school is getting boring for me. I wish I have more exciting things to write on this blog but I don't. I feel like my life has been getting boring and I haven't really done anything exciting for a long time. I've been uploading a lot of covers lately though :) I just uploaded Help Me and few days ago. I think I did a decent job but it's not perfect. I wish I waited to cover it after my throat felt more relived but I really wanted to cover it. Also my short cover for Brainstorming got over a 1000 views in 3 days! I wasn't expecting it to get that many views but I guess that Morning Musume is slowing regaining back their popularity. Honestly I don't think getting a lot of views is a good thing because it can lead to getting a whole bunch of dislikes. When I first started almost 3 years ago, I sang more songs that were popular and it did get me a lot of views but it also lead to getting a bunch of hate comments and dislikes. Ever since that, I try to avoid singing more well known songs and I actually prefer to just get 50 a week.

Onegai Dakara

I uploaded a new cover! It's a cover of Onegai Dakara by Erina Mano. I honestly think that it isn't very good. The chorus was way too high for me plus I sort of messed up on the lyrics in the 2nd verse but I was too lazy to do another take on it. I feel like I did a better job on Glory Days despite getting a dislike on it. For some reason, I feel really hurt whenever I get a dislike on my videos. In my earlier YouTube days, I used to get around 16 to 17 dislikes. It really sucked and I thought everyone who hated my videos were a bunch of idiots. Brain Storming

The "Loose version" for MoMusu's new single that's coming out in April is out! :) I actually listened to this song as soon I went on the computer in the morning lol. At first, I honestly didn't like it but I guess that was probably because I was still tired and all that. I'm actually impressed with this single. Just like the previous singles, the dances are just amazing. Also I think this song shows some promise on what Momusu would be like when both Reina and Sayu graduates. I was honestly concerned at some point for example, if they can still sell at least 10,000 even when they graduate but this song made me feel relieved and I think they'll do great in the future. I hope MoMusu will be back at the top again someday! :D Ganbare! :)

SKET Dance

 Lately I've been into watching this anime called SKET Dance. And it has nothing to do with dancing lol. For those who haven't seen it before, it's about 3 high schoolers who help people for example, save someone etc. It's similar to Gintama except it's in a high school setting. I heard that the person who makes this was a assistant for Gintama. Plus the voice actor who voices Swtich is also the voice actor for Gintoki and theres this minor character named Teppei and the voice actor who voices him also voices Shinpachi. At first I didn't like this anime because I thought it wasn't that funny. I didn't get the jokes at first because I wasn't used to it. But as I watched more episodes of it, I started to like this anime and right now, I can't stop watching it lol. So those who likes Gintama and likes more comedy stuff, I really recommend you this. You might not like it at first but it'll get better later on like Gintama did :) Also I think it's sort of sad that theres only 77 episodes to this. I wonder if they'll make new episodes someday.

Only one more day of finals!

Today was the 2nd day of finals. I technically only had one today because I only did some games and the pacer in P.E. I thought finals would be a lot more harder but it isn't. It's actually pretty easy lol. I'm planning to record tomorrow since finals will be over and if I record right now, my parents will probably think I'm not serious lol.

Help me number #1 on the daily charts?

Okay I know they were #1 a few days ago on the charts and I checked again this morning and they got their spot back! :) From what I can see, this single is doing really well and at this rate, they will be #1 on the weekly charts(unless Super Junior somehow sells more than Morning Musume) What I think of this is that I think it's a really good thing that Morning Musume has been doing well for the past three singles and probably slowly gaining back their popularity. Though I honestly wish that Up Front would've promoted them more during the Platinum era because I think that line-up was amazing. I'm not saying that the current line-up isn't good but I'm just saying that I think it was better to promote them more earlier before autotune became highly used and JunJun, LinLin and Kamei Eri graduated. 

When I watched the documentary/interview video involving their 50th single, the staff asked people if they knew the current Morning Musume. Obviously, people only knows the golden era. People in the documentary said that they somewhat knew the current MoMusu, heard Niigaki's graduating and Sayu being the next leader, a middle aged women saying she stills listens to them(only Love Machine and the peace) then the staff asks if she knew any of their latest songs and said she doesn't, and people who doesn't know what's going on with them at all because of the lack of TV appearances. When I heard that, I was pissed even I can't blame that if they're not TV, they won't know but the thing that bothered me the most was that people don't know any of their latest songs. They only know Love Machine, The Peace, Renai Revolution 21 etc. After watching this, I told my mom about it and she said that only knows Momochi and her Yurushite Nyan song lol. I just hope that someday, Morning Musume will be known again and when they're on Muste, Kouhaku etc, I'll be like, I supported them before they reached the top again! :D 

School :/

I feel like I haven't updated this blog for a while. I really want to have at least 10 entries a month, but there haven't been anything interesting going on in my life other than school and I haven't been uploading videos on YouTube as much as I want to because I'm trying to focus on my getting my homework done(since I'm so far behind because I didn't do any of it over the break). I'm having finals next week and it doesn't sound as bad as I thought it would be but I'm trying to study for it and do good on it which I doubt I will. When I'm all done with the work that I didn't do and even finals, I will be able to record :) I'm trying to get something lower than a C because last year, my dad took away my computer and I had to use my mom's for 2 weeks :(

Happy Birthday Aika Mitsui! ^-^

 

Today is Aika's(well in Japan) Birthday! I can't believe she's already 20 years old! I honestly don't think she looks 20 even with her old lady face lol. It's kind of hard for me to believe someone like Aika is already old enough to drink and do her own things. She always seemed mature to me so I'm not surprised about her being independent and all that but as each year goes by, it's sort of making me realize that I'm getting close to being a adult and as people who are a few years older than me turning 20, I'm like "wow I'm getting old" lol. Anyways, Aika is honestly one of my favorite Hello Projects members. Even though people say that's shes was the member that they didn't really need, I always thought that she had a great personality and the fact she smiles a lot even during the tough times. When I saw the 8th generation audition on YouTube, I was like shes so cute! I wish she had more spotlight in Morning Musume because I think she had potential. At first, it seemed like she did but later on, she just became that underated member. But I hope after Mano Erina graduates, she gets more pushed and I hope she will release a solo single! :D

Winter Break

Winter break went by so fast...at first it went by really slow because my mom kept on getting mad at me but then day just went by...I wish I done more things like record more and watch more anime, dramas, Kamen Riders. I actually had a 3 week break this year instead of 2 because the school district doesn't have much money. School is gonna start tomorrow and I honestly don't want to go lol. Plus, I haven't done all my homework.
