End of the year
It has been a while since I have last updated this blog. The term has been pretty busy so I felt quite tired after it ended so I haven't been as motivated to post. Anyways, it is hard to believe that this year is ending. It went by so fast. Today is my last day in Japan actually. I am planning to post about my trip after I get back.

End of September
I have been trying to update this blog but ended up being a lot busier than I thought. So what have I been doing? Well, school has started and I already have some homework to do. Also, before school started, I went on a trip which was actually quite fun. I didn't do too much this summer since I spent most of my time in school. But I do feel quite proud of myself for being to upload almost the exact amount of videos I wanted to this summer. There was this one song that I didn't get to record but will try to do that during winter break.

Suki-chan
This time, I have covered Suki-chan by S/mileage(ANGERME). I was originally planning to cover this before Ayaka graduated but as always, was not able to get to it on time. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this and I will for sure make an actual blog post next time since I realized that all I have been posting is about my videos.

Hitomi no Screen
This time, I have decided to re-record one of my worst covers that I have ever made. I recorded the original cover of this back in 2010 when I was 13 years old. Back then, I was more for the quantity rather than quality so I didn't care how anything sounded and even sang when I was sick. The original version of this got tons of hate. I don't remember how much dislikes I got since it has been deleted by YouTube. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this new version. Hopefully I have done a better job compared to when I was in middle school. This was a little hard to record since it was way too low for me so I raised the pitch of the instrumental which made it better but you can see that I still struggled with the lower parts.

Taiki Bansei
So this time, I decided to cover Taiki Bansei by ANGERME as an entry for the ANGERMEXICO contest. I was a bit hesitant to enter this since I don't plan on going to the concert in Mexico but I saw some people from different places enter so that is what I did. By recording this, I have officially learned why I don't record any live covers anymore. One reason is because since I can never find the tripod, I have to either stack up books or put my camera in an angle that I am not the most satisfied with. Also, I did not realize the camera was out of focus when I first recorded this so I had to re-record it along with a new recording since I wasn't satisfied with it. Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Dream Last Train
This time I have decided to sing Dream Last Train by Triplet. It is not my best cover and I feel like it could've been better but I tried. I had some trouble recording this. First, I did not know why the instrumental track kept on slowing down during the second chorus. Then, I figured out that it was on warp mode.

July
First of all, it is already July. It feels like summer break just started a week ago but it's already been about 2-3 weeks. So this summer, I have been going to school in order to finish off some bac core credits. Since the class I am taking is required to be taken on campus, I have been going to school 4 times a week. The lectures for that class is honestly quite boring but the class itself is interesting.
As for new videos, my goal is to get 2 on YouTube and 2 on SoundCloud over the summer. Usually, I end up being really busy or lazy which prevents me from doing this. But this year, I will try my best to update more.

Romance no Tochuu
It's been a while since I've last updated this blog. This time I decided to cover Romance no Tochuu by Juice=Juice. I originally wanted to cover this as soon as I got done with finals in order to be able to upload this before Yuka's graduation but wasn't able to get to it. But better late than never, right?

Life Update: May 2019
Despite my goal of updating twice a month, I have been quite busy with school as always so I haven't really gotten the chance. I can't believe it is already close to the end of the month. As I always say, time is just going by way too fast. So what have I been up to? Well, it is getting close to the end of spring term. This term has been a bit relaxing compared to the other terms. However, since the end of the term is getting close, I have some assignments due so that is getting a little stressful. Also, I have to start thinking of what I'll do after college. For now, I am thinking of just taking up any internships I can in order to get as much experience as possible. I am still a junior but my senior year for sure will just fly by so I am making sure that I have some sort of plan. Also, I have started to feel like I have been wasting my life again. This is the first time I've felt like this since high school. I have been late at everything from being able to getting my drivers license to going to things I have been wanting to go to such as a Hey! Say! JUMP concert. I still have never had a part time job while people around me had at least one or two and even starting an internship. I do blame myself for not taking action and believing whatever my parents had told me. Ever since I was a kid and up until I was 18, I never thought about just going for it. I always end up listening to what my parents told me which led me to think I had to wait until I got their approval. But on the bright side, at least I'm trying now compared to when I was in high school.
For the summer, I was thinking of either going to Japan World Heroes in Pasadena or the Hello! Project concert in Japan. I'm currently more leaning towards H!P but I regret not buying the plane tickets when they were cheaper. If I can't go in the summer, I'll try to aim for the year end concert.

Alive a life
It's been a while since I last uploaded a cover. So yesterday, I uploaded a cover of Alive a life by Rica Matsumoto. This song is one of my favorite songs from Kamen Rider. I recorded this pretty quick so there might be parts that aren't the best but I tried.

March
It is already March. February just went by so fast. These past few weeks has been quite stressful for me. I had to do two midterms which I did pretty well on both of them. This makes me feel like hard work does pay off so I will continue to work harder at school. Another stress factor is that I have to do a presentation for my Japanese class about a student we have been emailing from the partner university. I met my partner for the first time and realized that Japanese students can be quite quiet. I know it's not everyone but in general. I also did a conversation session with the other students. Since I am the one that helps them with their English, I was thinking of listening like I do with my partner from Taiwan but again, they were quiet as well. Though I can relate since I am quite reserved myself, it can be quite awkward. Anyways, I will definitely post some covers after this term ends so hope you look forward to that. I am actually very excited to record something new since it is a way to let out my stress.

Mayonaka no Shadow Boy
I posted this on SoundCloud almost two months ago but I forgot to share this on this blog! I have been wanting to re-record this to see if I improved or not throughout the years. This song was honestly pretty easy to record since it is super repetitive but if was a little low for me(which might be the reason why I raised the pitch when I recorded it the second time). Anyways, hope you enjoy!

February
I cannot believe that it is already February of 2019. Time really does go by so incredibly fast. So what have I been up to lately? Well this week is the 5th week of winter term which I cannot believe as well. I am currently taking five classes and I haven't been struggling to keep up as much compared to when I took the same amount of classes during my freshman year however keeping up with the readings has been hard like any other term but I have been trying.
During winter break, I went to Seattle for the third time this year. I went back in August twice for a day trip which was very hectic though I was happy to go again after 3 years. For this trip, we were able to stay at an actual hotel compared to the last two times where we were only there for a day and had to drive back home after only a few hours of exploring. It was pretty fun. I went to Round One to do some karaoke with my dad and brother and explored the mall there which was HUGE. I love going to malls in different states because there are some differences depending on which state you go to. However, we ended up rushing because my dad got worried about my cats so we weren't able to do much on the second day but it was still fun. To wrap this post up, I am thinking of doing a list of shows/movies I have been in to recently and shows/movies that I am looking forward to on my other blog so keep an eye for that.
