Thanksgiving

So yesterday in the States, it was Thanksgiving. This year, I actually had a pretty decent Thanksgiving. It was honestly a lot better than last year when my family and I were planning to go to a Japanese restaurant but it was closed. I had a nice Thanksgiving dinner with my family and my mom's friends family. The turkey was actually decent lol.

How I spent my Thanksgiving

Here in the States, yesterday was Thanksgiving. Normally, you would have a feast with all of your family and friends but my family spent it a little differently. Since we don't have anything to do that day, we decided to head up to the city and go to a Japanese restaurant. I honestly thought it would be open since Thanksgiving doesn't really apply to Japan but I went on to the Facebook page and figured out it was closed. So we headed down to the other Japanese restaurant that we wanted to go and that place was closed too. Then we realized that pretty much all the fast food joints other than McDonalds and Starbucks were closed so we decided to go to the Japanese supermarket. Luckily that place was open, although the restaurant there was closed. So we just ate the deli food at the store. I know this post was boring and sad but luckily I had an actual dinner since my mom wasn't satisfied with what we had for lunch. So yeah....that's how I spent my Thanksgiving.
