A Quick Update
Hello! it's been a while since I've last updated this blog. That is because I've been busy with schoolwork. So many things have been going on such as my piano adjudication which I did fairly well on, and band stuff. Also I took the SBAC for math last week. That was not fun at all. And for those who don't live in the states, the SBAC is basically a standardized test that students have to take to graduate high school. Right now since it's memorial weekend, I've been chilling a lot and just being lazy. And to end this post, I've started working on a new cover! Yay! ^-^ I haven't been able to finish it since I haven't been feeling well but I'll try to finish it by the end of the month and get that uploaded.

5 years on YouTube
I don't how to start this, but I've been posting videos on YouTube for 5 years now. It went by so fast! I remember when I first started posting covers on YouTube. I was that 13 years old girl that has been watching covers and wanted to make my own. I didn't know anything about video or audio editing. I just took out my camera and sang. I was excited to get tons of good reviews and was ready to be praised. I wanted to be successful and have tons of subscribers. But I've been hit with reality. I wasn't one of those people who got tons of subscribers or got good comments and tons of likes. In fact, I've got bashed with haters. I was able to get a lot of views but they weren't for a good reason.
During my first year of YouTube, I was pretty much told to die, disappear, and I was told that I can't sing and I sounded like crap which was sort of true. During that time, I was depressed like heck. I told my close friends and family about it and they just told me to ignore and that I was a good singer(liar!). Since most of the viewers were Japanese, I got tons of hate from them and it just made me hate Japanese people. To be honest back then, I had no idea what I was doing wrong. It took me forever to realize that I was singing the wrong types of songs. The type of songs that I was singing were more mainstream J-pop which the fans are more aggressive and probably don't have a life. So I ended up transitioning from mainstream j-pop to idol music. Of course it made me lose a lot of views but I was more happy because I didn't get as much hate and I enjoyed listening to idols especially Hello Project.
Now let's move on to the subscriber and views. Like I said, getting a lot of views didn't mean I was getting more subscribers. It actually took me 2 years just to get 100 subscribers on my first channel. When I was reached 100, I was just so happy. Normally a lot of people can reach that many amount of subscribers in around a few months to a year so I was one of the slower people. But after half a year I reached 100 subscribers, I decided to move channels. I got 2 covers deleted which led me to have 2 strikes. I figured that it's more safer to move channels. Also, I just wanted to have a new start. I didn't want to delete my covers that pretty much got all the hate comments because I'm one of those people who can't throw things away. Anyways, I had a pretty good start on my 2nd channel. But as time went by, I didn't get as much views as I started with or any comments or likes. Again, I started getting more dislikes. It made me wonder why again. And I still don't know why. I started to come up with excuses about how I've "improved" and such. It just made me mad that I get bashed for something that I spend weeks on just to perfect as much as I can. It was understandable how I got hate comments in my earlier videos because I was lazy about them and I sung songs I learned just that day. But this is one thing I know now, it's the internet. It doesn't matter if you're good singer or not. You get bashed either way.
Lastly, I want to talk about the feeling of having to rush. Obviously, I've been making covers on YouTube for 5 years now. And on my current channel, I only have 34 subscribers. Looking at other YouTubers channels and those who I've talked to before, they have more subscribers than I do. Also more and more newer people who are covering anime/j-pop are coming by and rapidly getting subscribers. It made me think that I have to get more subscribers now or else as soon as I know it, it's going to be 10 years without many views or subscribers. It also just makes me think that I have to get more recognized just because I've been doing this for a long time. I know making these types of videos won't get you to be one of the top YouTubers; what I mean is that I just want at least 5 likes and all that. Having even just that makes me really happy because they're not 5 dislikes. Also there were times that I was jealous of the newer people having more subscribers, views and comments. My thoughts were "why isn't that me?" "I'm not that bad, am I?"
In conclusion, I've had a lot of ups and downs on YouTube. I wanted to talk so much more such as making friends and being in groupdubs. I honestly don't feel like I explained my experience very well. But to end this post, I did not write this so everyone will feel bad for me or to be thought as a complainer. I wrote this because I wanted to share my experience and for those who want to start their own channel to know that it's hard to get to the top and to be prepared for the haters out there. For anyone who actually read this, thank you so much because if I didn't write this, I would not even bother to look at it.

My Birthday Haul 2015!
So 2 weeks ago was my birthday! It feels so weird because it just went by so quick. Anyways, this year I turned 18(I still feel like a little kid lol). So I wanted to show what I got. It's not much to be honest but I'm satisfied with the things I got because it's better than nothing and my friends and my family really thought of what to get me.
The first things that I will show you guys are the presents I got from my friends.
I cannot thank them enough for getting me some of the cutest presents! And I just love the Hello Kitty plushie. It's actually a lot bigger than it is on the picture. Also, since I'm a slow eater plus my back teeth has been hurting, I've been planning to just share some of the candy.
Next are the presents I got from my family members.
From my mom, I got a folder and key chain of Nagisa from Assassination Classrom. I just love Nagisa so much! He is my favorite character in the anime/manga and I really like how he's always clam and observant. Anyways, I actually showed this to my mom when we went to Kinokuniya and she decided to buy them as my birthday present.
From my dad, he got me the Koro-sensei pencil case and the newest Morning Musume'15 single.
I just thought this pencil case was so cute! The only thing I don't like about it is that it's very small so it's hard to fit pretty much anything. And onto to the CD, I've been so excited to get this. I have waited literally FOREVER to have it. I honestly think this single is better than TIKI BUN and Toki wo koe sora wo koe. Also I really like the poster it came with. I realized that I have not taken a picture and I'm too lazy to do so lol.
Those are the things I got for my birthday! Like I said in the beginning of this post, it's not much but I'm satisfied with it. Also this post was way overdue but at least I didn't post this a month after my birthday like I did last year.

Mystery Night
This time I decided to cover Mystery Night by S/mileage(Currently ANGERME). I feel like it's been forever since I recorded a cover. I just been busy with things and lazy at the same time and I keep on telling myself to make more covers but I want to learn the songs I want to sing perfectly so that's one of the reasons why I don't upload as much as I used to. So onto the song, I love this song! I can't stand the dance or the music video but this is such a strong song. I noticed how this song matched my voice so I didn't really have a hard time recording it. I'm not satisfied with the last part but I tried lol.

Some of my recent purchases!
Hello! I feel like I haven't updated this blog in forever! I've been so busy lately with homework but today, I would like to show what I got on my trip to California and my HSJ Calendar.
So at Six Flags, I got the T-shirt and necklace that is on the top of the shirt. I just love the shirt! When I first saw it, I knew that I just had to get it. At Disneyland, I got a necklace and an anklet. I first thought the anklet was a necklace and it sadly, it was too small for my leg :(
I was too lazy to take a picture of the calendar so I just took a picture of the box. This one compared to the one last year is more simple. It only features a photobook and a small calendar. I honestly liked the one from last year more because it had so many things in it and it had this stand where you could just put your calendar on.
So those are some of the things that I got lately(well somewhat). And to my brother who might be reading this, please leave my friends and I ALONE. They have been telling me that you've been liking their facebook statuses and been trying to add them on Snapchat. You say that they are weird, but to be honest, you're the weird one. Also, I find it creepy that you have found this blog and probably even know my current YouTube account.

April
I cannot believe that it's April already! Time really just flies by. So what have I been up to lately? Well, last month was really hectic for me. I had two band competitions and a bunch of rehearsals for it along with rehearsals for the Disneyland trip. After that, right after when school was out for spring break, I left for California. I will talk about my trip in a different post since it has a lot of things to to it. When I came back from California, I was very tired and didn't do anything pretty much. Also I will try to record a cover this month but who knows? I might not. So that was my crappy update. I am planning to post more this month since I will probably have more free time.

March
I can't believe it's already March! This year is going by so fast! Anyways, so far this month has been a very busy month for me. I've had a lot of things going on in school and I'm going down to California next week for a band trip. I'm kind of excited about it. I get to be with my friends and go to Disneyland and Six Flags. I was first really excited to go to Disneyland but then I realized that I'm not much of a person that likes rides. But I'm still looking forward to it because it's my first time going there with my friends so I'm sure it's going to be fun.
